I'm what you might call a professional traveler. I've lived in Munich, New York, Sao Paulo, Warsaw and now Washington DC.
I'm also a crime fiction writer with several published novels. I originally started using Poser because I wanted to do character studies, but then, before I knew it, I was hooked. I fell in love with 3D graphics. My interests were initially in doing pictures that focused on the 1920s, but now I love fantasy also.
I can't post as many pictures as I'd like -- I work slowly and don't seem to have much success, but I post when I can and I'm very grateful for all the supportive comments you have given me over the years. I've learned a lot from this community and I continue to be amazed and thrilled with the generosity, creativity and passion I see demonstrated toward one another over and over again.
Thank you!

Very nice. I like all the little details – you really paint a sense of place with the books, old radio and the comfy chair. The only detail that doesn't ring true to me is the book he's holding. Everything else paints a portrait of World War II and the 1940s, but that type of paperback book did not exist at that time (especially with a cover design like that). It's a small thing, but it did pull me out of this otherwise deftly crafted scene. I could almost smell the tobacco (LOVE that light touch with the smoke – so many people overdo smoke and you most certainly didn't) and sense his trepidation as turned up the evening news to find out what was going on in the Pacific, Africa or Europe. Thanks for taking us back in time!

Thanks for the detailed comment. I had the same thought when I inserted the paperback. Maybe I'll go back and try to find a hardcover, or something, see what the Brits were reading during the war. Anyway, thanks a bunch.
