Okay, first off - I love the water. You can really see where the currents run beneath the surface, just as you can when looking at real water. I also love the ducks (or are they wild geese?), the tassled grass, and the waiting boat. And of course, the castle is lovely. I spent a lot of time looking at the clouds and their reflection in the water. They do seem to be the same cloud formations, or very nearly so. However, I thought the clouds looked further away and shouldnt be reflecting in the water which seems to be so far in the foregroundK And I keep lookingK No castle reflected in the waterK not really. Is it magical then, like Brigadoon or something similar? And the storm clouds that seem to be gathering just behind the castleK HmmmK NOW the whole piece is making me think, and wonder and speculate!! Truly, this is one of the best Bryce images I've ever seen. Thank you so much for taking the time to create it.
