My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

several people above are talking about this "nautical face"---really??? I kind of see it, but very little. (Ok, in the center? Ok...but, well...it's not hitting me the way it is the others, sorry! I see it, but I'm more taken in by the light!) The light on this is wonderful, as you illuminate a simple part of a boat---I assume an outer surface, with the anchor dangling there. The light on the edges, and your very slight topaz work (I assume) make it shimmer dazzlingly. And the whites on the bottom give a real lift to the shot. It's all about the light, and it's beautiful. As are the deep red-browns of the wood, and those scrolls on either side. A typical transformation of a common sight, from you. Beautifully done, Tara.
