Description

For Earthbound: The Quantum Grail. Mecha concept. Rendered in Iray. Used After the War; Nurnies, Greebles and Parts; Iray Paint and Suede shaders. Also used Schell's VF-14. Background sky was made in Bryce. The name comes from a French word for "mixed" that was in the past applied to people of mixed Indian and European blood in Canada (related to the word "mestizo," used in Latin America). In keeping with the American Indian themes of my book, Metis refers to both the history of the Indian protagonists and this mech's peculiar "mixed" technology that allows it to shift modes from aircraft to ground combat machine.
