She is alone in a tropical paradise. She cries out to be rescued but she may never get the help she truly needs. Creation Date: June 25, 2018 Software Tools: Poser 11 Pro, Photoshop CC Notes: When I started on this artwork, I was in a bad place mood-wise. By the time I completed it, I was feeling much better. Medication and other therapies seem to be helping me greatly at the moment. I still fell compelled to share this artwork for all of those who aren’t feeling better. I tried to create a beautiful tropical paradise that most people would dream of living in. Only it’s no paradise to her. It’s a cage where she is stranded and alone. She is crying out, signalling for help. Tech Notes: The hardest part of creating this artwork was actually positioning the stones to form the word “HELP”. They’re only readable from a certain camera angle so every time I moved the camera a bit, I’d have to reposition the stones. The island set is quite an old one but I updated it with new textures and added new plants and props from more recent and detailed sets. It took a lot of postwork to achieve the “Instagram retro vintage look”. I used several actions, overlays, adjustment layers, etc. to the point that I lost count of my layers!
