Description
(Scotti has always been a far more serious actress than her mother and sister.)
It's always interesting when something one thought one knew was "Not Exactly" accurate.
Take the case of the renowned Author M.L.Adams. It would be very difficult to find someone that has not read any one of her novels, or seen a screen adaption of them. If not for the stories themselves then the imagination and determination of the author herself. Most people can easily recount how she had been involved in an auto accident, was the only survivor and lost the use of her legs at such a young age. Since at the time there were no external neural nets that would allow her to walk she was doomed to a wheelchair the rest of her days.
Yet despite that, she earned a medical degree in veterinary medicine with the help of the Crime/Mystery stories she wrote. With herself assisting her favorite cartoon heroine Velma Dinkley from "Scooby-do, where are you?" Like a 22nd century female Sherlock Holmes and Dr.Watson the two solved the most exotic mysteries and crimes. Over her lifetime M.L.Adams penned over 120 stories, inspiring other young ladies to use thier minds and overcome challenges. Not bad for a lifetime...
Unless there was something more...
Several years ago a general renovation was being done at the Megan Lane Adams Museum and they discovered something about her wheelchair. Hidden in the padding was a devise called a thumbdrive, a small digital storage device. similar to a a micro-cube. A thumbdrive that had not been touched since its owner hid it there some two thousand years before. Now the full contents of the device has not been fully released but, parts have.
One part that has been released is that at least four of her most successful novels were not fiction. That she and a real life FBI agent investigated and solved cases she had been asked to consult on.
The M.L.Adams foundation has allowed an academy award winning director and long time fan acess to the full device and has just completed a "True Telling" of a portion of the mysterious life of M.L.Adams.
The film is to be called "Being Velma."
Believe it, or not....
