Description

So I bought Octane recently ... does it show :P This is my initial effort. The Enterprise Model built by Al Dinelt (Tralfaz) and it's superb with lots of details and great textures. One has to light everything .. LITERALLY EVERYTHING!! .. and there's like a billion surface regions to deal with .. but when one spends the time with it you can achieve some really nice looking things. Especially with Octane which just made it look even better. I still don't know how to accurately add metallic reflections and all that jazz .. but it'll come in time. I actually did an Iray version too, just to compare the differences. Besides the metal looking more like metal in iray that's about the only advantage iray had (and that's only because I don't yet know how to do metals in Octane), but the Octane render is night and day difference. So, enjoy.
