Description
Just a shot of my neighborhood. Just a summery shot from a few years back. (Better zoomed.)
I removed my "Heat Exhaustion" because I felt so bad from that condition, I just couldn't bear to let it stay up. (I had to go back to the hospital the next day---heat exhaustion is something else!) But I read all 3 comments, and thank you for them! (I always read comments if I remove an image: I'd never ignore what any of you spent time writing for me!)
I'm gonna leave some comments in the next week. I can't do lots now, but I'll at least pay a visit. Hopefully I'll be back for more later in July or Aug. I hope you're all well, I thank you for stopping by, and I wish all my American friends a fine 4th of July. The rest of you---happy July 4th anyway! Even if it's just a 'wednesday'!
(Do you know how hard it is to be a vegan on July 4th? I'm chewin' parsley while everyone else is eating hot dogs and hamburgers!)
Have a great day!

You live in a beautiful place. Try a stalk of celery or a carrot. At least they crunch when you bite into them. Hope you get over the heat soon. I've come close a few times and it is not fun.

Fabulous image, Mark! Broccoli in ranch or blue cheese dip is good.

What a clear crisp beautiful capture, Mark. Your neighborhood is awesome looking, your talent with the lens is sensational my friend, love the manips you do on some of them when you do. I hope you'll have a safe and enjoyable holiday Mark. Thanks for your support and awesome friendship.
Been very hot here also, I had heat exhaustion a few times in past, was driving for a company and was driving around in circles confused on my route. Had to drink lots of water, drench my head and take a few minutes to gather myself. Hope you will be ok. Take care. God bless/Steve.

Your area is so be-treed ! (New word?)
I can't stand the heat either, but I have avoided being ill with it. However the boy who served me in the O2 did give me a nasty cold as well as a sim card ! Nearly gone now thankfully.
Wishing you a rapid return to health.

Odd, I didn't see no "Heat Exhaustion" posting so I could comment. Welcome to the club of what we experience here mostly from mid July into October of each year. The nights can be miserable. Hence, the main reason virtually everyone that can afford it has air conditioning in their abodes. Ergo, the electrical power utilities make a fortune from our agonizing discomfort. Anyway, a wonderful shady photo of what I assume is your neighborhood, Mark. What a contrast to my flat area! Hope you recover soon so you can return to the RR fold, unhampered by your ailments. Happy 4th of July to you, despite the weather.

Beautiful photo with all that shade.color and building.

A very pleasant looking 'hood'. We are expecting temperatures over 100 this weekend. It seems to be everywhere. Y'know, once a year you could try a vegan hot dog. Once you load it down with fixings its not so bad. And don't forget to stay hydrated.

this is so pretty. the colors and the way the sunlight shines on the car is wonderful... a spark of light to light the way. I really like the tall trees, the green against the yellow building is cool and refreshing.
I'm sorry I missed your post, I hope you feel better. stay safe in the heat.

Such a lovely shot of your neighborhood, Mark. You understand how to take photos. Love it... BTW! Amit, my son, didnt complain being a Newbe Vegan, when we ate chicken steaks in front of him. He ate his (what tastes like masched potatoes with cooked veggies inside, fried in oil) beefs, that I purchased for him the other day. With Lots of Sliced baked potatoes and Raw salad. And Humus, which he brought. And crispy garlic bagettes. ;-)

A very lovely photo of your 'hood', Mark! Hopefully you don't have to listen to that obnoxious rap-crap in your 'hood' LOL
It's hot as the dickens here (although I really haven't measured the temp of a dickens lately), heat indexes in the 100's every day. My front yard looks like a jungle, but running around behind a mower in this heat doesn't sound all that enticing...
I did grill out burgers and hotdogs yesterday! And it was hooooot.....
Hope you're doing well, buddy! And stay cool! LOL

Didn't see your post about heat exhaustion. Hope you are doing okay. I had it once at a zoo years ago and it sucked. In the mountains it rarely gets above 80, with a nice breeze in the summer. A lovely shot. I just love all the trees you have in your neighborhood.

Beautiful capture Mark. I like the playing of light and shadows very much as also the colors.
Take care.

It's always good to see your neighborhood. No matter the time of year, it looks good. Hope you're feeling better; heat exhaustion is no joke!!
