Description

Mr. Drake always lets the misses eat first. He stands back until she has finished, when she walks away he gets his turn. I do offer him the food first but he politely steps back & she comes forward. I clean the dish every night & leave a bowl of fresh water just by the front path for any critters that may walk by & fancy a drink. Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. x

Interesting that the male allows his mate to get her fill first...of course it has nothing to do with courtesy, rather it's a strategy for the survival of the species...They certainly are "cute." Have you given them names yet?
