wow, you're surrounded by some serious mountains and forest (via your photos). I'm fleshing out the area you live in, and it's quite beautiful...Your coffee image has a total 'coffee' hue to it. Or what we'd imagine a coffee universe to look like. A lot is doused in coffee-toned undertones---love the coffee-toned grays of the background; the coffee undertones in her skin, her hair, her blouse (great silvery hue on that blouse, and I love the way it casually drapes and billows on her; and it has touches of coffee tones in it), the clear coffee tone of her pants, and so on. She looks like she has to have coffee, but she's trying to break away from it. Another terrific pose from you, btw: She's acting out the act of being pulled-into it, and pushing away from it at the same time. And the yellow highlights in the clock are good contrast to all these heavy coffee tones. (Coffee tone is really a burnt brown, almost a matte, dusty brown.) Also---love the pants: Is there actually a coffee called "mead"? (That was a Medieval drink, made mainly of fermented honey and water.) Another delightful vision from you, with humor and beautiful design. And color. Delightful work, Dee.
