Our enemy is an ancient race of intelligent insectoids. Intel says they have conquered systems and assimilated the knowledge and tech of every race they control. That means they are masters of every science we know of and some we don't. Mastery of Cybernetics, Mecha and Bioengineering are evident from our first contacts. The females are in command and are starting to look like us. They answer to some kind of Queen. It's believed that the enemy can adapt their form to match their opponents. They want to look like us so they can infiltrate our societies to spy, sabotage, and conquer. We think this raid is to capture test subjects, dead or alive. They will be sorely disappointed. We will fight them to the death to protect or system. The aliens in this image are based on the Solinoids created by @theschell.
