Description
Wood Avens
The seedheads of this invasive wild flower, Geum urbanum, are a nightmare when you have dogs with velcro coats.
Tiffany has the sort of fur that collects anything like this, so every time they come in from the garden I have to use the wire brush to de-seed her.
The other offender is goosegrass, but I have managed to pull most of that before it seeded.

Excellent shot of this very annoying plant. I know very well about such weeds. Pjuske collect severel strange objects in his fur. One of them was carpet tape from somewhere. Not from me, but he arrived with a huge piece on his belly the other day. OH! was he happy to get rid of it... unfortunately some of his fur went off too.

Although it doesn't grow up here in our summer residence, we have goat's head down south. Imagine what this is like when the dog steps on it, and it gets in between the dog's pads. Yikes!
