Captured 6/3/14, at our local sports building.
Its heavy look makes it appear to be made of iron or some kind of metal.

living around so much wrought iron (which you see in many of my neighborhood shots), I'd say, yes, this is definitely iron, and painted for a sheen. The bench is striking on its own merits; but the shot has such a beautiful pastel pink and beige to it. It's got so much light and delicate hue, it makes the metallic presence of that bench really stand out. (The light is so bright and yet gentle.) And your angle makes it appear like we're intruding on a private moment---like the bench is talking to someone out of frame. A very striking shot of an ornate, beautiful bench, in a surrounding that feels like a pastel dream. And strong light on the bench too. Beautiful work, Harry.
Harry, I'm at an hour and 15 minutes in your gallery, and it's getting late (near dawn in fact), so I have to move on.
