My friend Guido just sent me a free all expense paid ticket to visit him in Italy for a week, Yippee! I was so excited I packed my bags and hauled butt straight to the airport, Guido could not meet me at the airport when I landed so I took a taxi to meet him at his job. Guido is a Italian policeman and he got promoted to the under cover department and his first special assignment is to try and catch a gang of high end car thieves, They only steal fast super-cars and there are lots of them in Italy. So what's the catch ? ... The catch is Guido has been given this decommissioned old Fiat police car as his under cover car, "Oh'a Mama how am I'a going to catch'a anything in this old'a bucket of'a bolts" he whined to me, He is like all Italian men, Such a drama queen and he talks with his hands and his voice goes all high and squeaky. "Oh Maggie what am I'a to do" he whined "My boss is such'a stupido, He does'a not understand how'a quick these new'a super cars is, I'a would hava more'a chance of catching them with'a Mama's old'a broken down donkey" Whine, whine, whine, He went on like this for nearly a hour. "Okay Guido I get it, I will help you to build the car so that is has a chance of catching the car thieves", "Do you have somewhere we can work on the car and what sort of budget are we working with?". "Oh thank'a you, thank'a you Maggie you are so'a kind I knew'a you would'a come and help'a your dear'a friend Guido, I hava place where'a we can'a work on the'a car and the budget she is'a limited, But I Guido hava many contacts and we can'a get many, many good parts, Cheap" Great my trip to Italy is not a holiday as such, It is more like a working holiday, There is always a catch when you get something for free, Thanking you for viewing and more pictures to come of my holiday in Italy.
