Description

I love the scent of Dill, but now they are in bloom and soon I can dry them and use them as spices for cucumber pickling. Hubby loves them. But first i will use some of them with Salmon. Have a great Weekend. It is still hot, was up til 30 C today. Much more than they said. TSK! :)

Dill to me says pickle, and I love when that happens to a cucumber. Nice shot, and I have seen this plant before. Cooled off to 34.4 Celsius here today.

I used to do gardening and landscaping for a living, years and years back (when I could be on my knees for hours at a time), and I dealt with dill without knowing it was dill. I forgot about the flowers: Your capture is like a mass of little fireworks. And all the stems make it almost like a fractal. And I see that insect there (hoverfly? I have to see the next 2 shots to know...I saw these a long time ago, so I don't remember, now). A "sea" of dill flowers and stems; a beautiful profusion-shot.
