Description

Oh my, things have been so crazy lately. First, my hard drive died, got that taken care of. Then one night I was going to post a couple of fotos and Picasa was GONE, along with 1000's of fotos. I totally freaked out, headed right to my tech shop where they were able to find the fotos. Turns out Picasa is no longer being supported. Would have been nice if they'd mentioned it!! Oh, yeah, the my old Photo Shop version went south and I had to email my ex to ask him for the disc he had. Well, it wouldn't work, since it was probably a copy he'd he'd found somewhere online. (not even gonna think about how that might've happened! lol) Back to the tech shop, where I ended up buying the newest version of PS. I haven't used it much, but it's not nearly as easy as the first one I had was. Long story short, my computer life has been rather complicated lately,. I tried to post this the other night and it just didn't work. AAAARRGGGHHHHH!!!!! I'll keep trying, I'll buy a external hard drive to back up everything, go back to the tech shop and have them give me a tutorial. I'll get it all sorted out eventually!! Oh yeah, after Picasa went away, the guys downloaded a Google pictures app, but so far I'm not too impressed. Picasa spoiled me it was SO easy. Ah well........such is life!!! In the meantime, this is an old foto of a meadow in Yosemite. Looks really pretty, but when my sister and I walked out into it, it was full of nasty, biting bugs---we walked in and ran out!!

Looks can be deceiving, even in a meadow!

Good luck with the tech!

Very pretty. Yeah I was going to say that Picasa's last stable release was a couple of years ago now.

From out of the distant past comes our Marilyn, this time distraught with a whole host of computer problems to harass her, as she seeks solace from all the madness. Never heard of Picasa myself. Is that a takeoff on Picasso, the painter? I believe i have the latest version of Photoshop, which isn't very recent as far their latest upgrade is concerned. But it's a sterling program. Anyway, cool shot of the Yosemite lea lowlands, and the best of luck with your computer, the technician(s), and the hard drive.

As long as it stays pretty and doesn't go kaboom any time soon, lol. Glad you got this one posted... 🌋😎

How pretty! I'm going to ignore the bug thing, since I'm not there, and imagine it is lovely and comfortable and free of nasty critters. :P I know exactly what it sounded like when you couldn't find your pictures and they were GONE! LOL! I knew even before I finished reading your story that they would be retrieved. :)
