Saw them last night--they were closer then...it was an outstanding sight to behold--it was an early evening, clear, dark blue sky--not a cloud in sight...you got a great capture :)

Thanks for your thoughtful comment. I live in Australia. Honesty, I walked outside one night and there they were. For some reason, there were no other stars visible at the time. So I took the shot with my 600mm lens....hand held!! My tripod was in the car. I breathed in and froze and I clicked a VERY fast shutter in the dark!!!! Take care. Andrew.
