Description
as opposed to a street sweeper.
This big guy is just one of a vast fleet of curb sweepers that, on designated days of the week, drive up and down the streets adjacent to the curbs. sweeping up debris with that big brush and what looks like a vacuum on the side as shown, followed by a quick spray down with water.
Not shown but on the other side of the vehicle is a fire hydrant which it uses to gulp up a huge volume of water in advance of another trip along the streets and byways of the city.

another of your fine truck and utility vehicle shots, with a very clear vision of its 'facade' (its side facade) and some of its mechanisms. The man's orange shirt really stands out well against the truck's pale white. And your empty road in front gives balance and composition to the shot. Plus, I love the craters in the road. A fine study of a beast-of-a-vehicle.
