Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Lavender blue, dilly-dilly, lavender green, and so on. Fine capture of the white butterfly atop the stalk of little flowers, Helle.

Very nice capture Helle.
The butterfly looks like a 'Pieris rapae' (Kleiner Kohlweißling)
I often access the following website to identify butterflies:

A most fantastic capture, Helle, and what a great colour-(combination). So many details also. We have big bushes from this Lavender and they become larger every year. They are also very easy to clone (I mean to make more of them).

I didn't know lavender flowers were that 'picky' to grow...we had them in my childhood home, but I didn't plant them. They'd been there many years and always bloomed when I was a kid. I love the closeup on this butterfly, we can see its hairs and the veins in his wings. And the hairs on the flowers and stem (the one closest to the center). I love this closeup. And the butterfly is a great contrast to those deep purples. Even in a parched summer, you have lots of beauty around you. I hope it cools off soon: It's amazing how hot northern europe has been this summer. Such an unexpected heat wave up there. I hope you're doing well! This lavender pair is beautiful.
