Description
Grey clouds were gathering as the castle burned. He was there, the Lord General, standing on the steps admiring his army’s work as the evening drew in. It had to be tonight!
Neeva waited patiently for her chance, and for that damned warhound to go to sleep!
She knew she would never get a better chance, this was the closest she had gotten to him in 6 month’s. So many people had died because of his ‘bloody’ campaign. Too many.
'What was one more life if it brought an end to the war?'
Neeva sighed quietly but deeply, and slowly reached for her dagger.
