Yu-Dan is not a Jedi, but he can use the Force. As a child he trained in the ancient Martial Art of Teras Kasi. He found he was a natural. His reflexes and strength were superior to his fellow students. His masters realized he was Force sensitive and sent him to a secret monastery to hide from the Empire. Yu-Dan continued to train and learned to use the Force to enhance his strength, speed, and toughness. He can surround his body with the Force, creating a sort of armor. He can take any blow, punch and kick through stone. He can even deflect blaster bolts. He doesn’t think of the Force like the Jedi do. He thinks it comes from within, an internal energy (chi). That’s what he was taught. Yu-Dan has returned to his village and quickly witnessed the cruelty of the Empire. He has vowed to protect his people from their tyranny.
