Description

Some of you have commented that this church would be even more beautiful with old and colorful stained glasses that give a special light in the building. I agree with this remark. But old stained glasses no longer exist, the creation of stained glasses was entrusted to a contemporary artist, the painter Pierre Soulages at the end of the 80s. The glasses, especially created for these stained glasses, diffuse a lot of light. Certains d'entre vous ont fait la remarque que cette église serait encore plus belle avec des vitraux anciens et colorés qui donnent une lumière particulière dans le bâtiment. Je suis d'accord avec cette remarque. Mais les vitraux anciens n'existant plus, la création des vitraux a été confiée à un artiste contemporain, le peintre Pierre Soulages à la fin des années 80. Les verres, spécialement créés pour ces vitraux, diffusent beaucoup de lumière, c'est ce qui produit ces halos. (info Wikipedia)

J'aime beaucoup le mouvement circulaire autour du choeur, les reliefs de l'architecture, et la belle lumière diffusée par les vitraux des absidioles.........magnifique prise de vue empreinte de sérénité, Jean-Claude !
