after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve

For several years, I backed up my Poser stuff to an external drive. In many cases, I saved to the that drive rather than to my c: drive.
And then the external drive crashed and I lost a lot of files. Now I have two backup drives, one to back up the other.
But then again, Murphey's Law....
Nice scene.

Delightful image... she's a very tempting templar! Sorry to hear about your PC crash... Unfortunately, even if you back-up your files, sometimes you still lose a lot because the program files aren't usually backed up, so depending on where your data files were saved they may not be backed up. It took me months to restore my purchased products and I still lost a huge amount.

Lovely little scene you've put together, Steve. The gal and background work really well together.
Bad luck seems to follow you, Steve. Sorry to hear about your computer...do hope things can be restored....I never keep anything important or irreplaceable on my computer...everything goes on a external HD. Also keeps snooping noses from looking at private info. Anyway, good luck :)

I guess the ebots weren't working for a while.... I just stumbled onto this....
As always a stunning image, Steve! Glad you had those images in the waiting que - I was wondering if you'd be able to post today - glad you did!
Yeah, it sucks when the computer decides it's time to go south. I've been burned a few times when a drive decides to give it up. Now I probably overdo it on the backups, but the thought of reinstalling almost 9 years' worth of Poser stuff turns me into a quivering pile of jello....

Ewww, I keep putting off back ups as well, really should take the time to do that. I hope yours can be recovered !
There's a different sort of Templar, very pretty :) Nicely done.

Usb's are good for a quick back up. They now have ridiculous memory and are fairly cheap... ;)
Still looking for the Templar hoard...

Lovely image! I just backed both of mine up about a week ago. Been putting it off for quite some time. I've lost everything before so I know what that's like! I hope you are able to save your data!
