Description
well yesterday was a bad start.. I left for work on the bike. going down my street a truck ran a stop sign I saw him coming so I slammed on the brakes.
and then I lost my balance and fell off the bike...the left mirror broke but the bike is ok..i'm ok just sore.
not really hurt..and since he didn't really hit me..can't do anything..although when he helped me up.. I see that the truck was about a foot from the bike.. and he claims oh.. I stopped..ya sure that's why the stop sign is around 10 feet back?
he was just arguing with me. I told him I had the right of way .you had the stop sign. he said ya I stopped you could've went.. sure..if I would've went I wouldn't have made it to work. he would've definitely hit me. and then he says oh well I didn't see you .. I drive a yellow bike..and it's not a 10 speed.

Truly delightful image... She's quite beautiful! Sorry to hear about your accident... Personally I would have called the cops and him explain to them way his truck was 10' pass the stop sign. It's likely that it's not his first time. People seem to have the perception that the bigger vehicle has the right if way! That's one reason I gave up my little convertible sports car for a Jeep... Which has a battering ram as a front bumper... You'd be surprised how few people cut me off now! In any case... Glad your okay! Best wishes for a better day!

Glad you're OK, but yeah, I'd have called the cops on the idiot. At least they could explain to him that the sign means to stop AT the sign, not wherever the hell he feels like stopping. Obviously he's too stupid to figure it out himself.
