Description

A hommage to still life paintings of the Dutch Golden Age - but with some objects out of place and out of time. Some older models of mine are just recycled here but the chalice and the small glass with the bluebell are modelled especially for this scene. The surrounding (as seen in the reflections) is of course my digital recreation of Vermeer's atelier with the left and right window draped - so only the daylight falling through the center window illuminates the scene.

The chalice and the small glass were quickly modeled with Wings3D the other stuff was mostly done with Blender if I remember right. Render engine was Iray from within DAZ Studio running on two GTX1080ti for about 5 hours.

Superb! I am fond of these still life paintings that can be see in all the great museums of the world. The glass of white wine is often there... Sometimes we can see some bugs or a snail...

This image must absolutely be seen in full size! Hat off!
