Having lost my poor darling Bootsy recently I take comfort that one day we will reunite- on the other side of the rainbow bridge. As Douglas Adams put it - 'so long and thanks for all the fish

Delightful!

Sad to read, that you lost your Bootsy! She was a beautiful cat. Believe me, I know what it feels like, since I lost quite a few of those beloved furs until now and I hope and believe as well, that we will be reunited one beautiful day. When I lost my beloved Cat Felix, I wrote a small letter which I put into the little coffin as I did with all of my cats. But in that letter I closed not with a "good bye" but with a "see ya later" I'm with you and Bootsy in my thoughts and prayers

So very sorry for your loss my friend. A beautiful tribute.

I regret your loss. Maybe another, abandoned cat can comfort you from the shelter. Then you could raise each other up again ... Very nice render, Andrew.

It's always a wrench when a pet dies. When our last cat died I didn't immediately replace her. After about a year my niece rang up and asked if we would take a 'big moggie' whose mistress had died. Big is right; he weighs 14 lb!

Bootsy clocked in at 1.5 stone so probably about 21 pounds!
