Description
From a storm that looked threatening for a while but left no moisture. I took innumerable shots of this phenomenon.
Don't see much like this anymore due to climate change.
Update: I did a little research and discovered these type formations are generally defined as a buttermilk sky.

A hardly seen formation, the name of them fails me, caught a capture of them once with blues and oranges mixed in.

"Buttermilk" is the right word. Your work on this gives us a huge shag carpet in the sky---great capture. It's so thick and visceral, it's hard to believe those are actual clouds!
