Those Are Hard To find, Cool Old one. At first glance the gas pumps in bg shadowed looked like alien figures.

Are you sure about that flat four? I always thought they had a flat six. Great capture.

could very well have a flat six. "I have never had the hood up on one". never been close to one running. seen less than the fingers on one hand way back in 1960 take or give a couple of years

Great capture of this old Corvair, Richard. My dad had one of these a long time ago - I think it was a '63. I drove it for about a week while my car was being repaired - it seemed a little under-powered to me. It would really slow down going up a hill, and not a steep one at that. I used to kid my dad, and tell him he needed to feed the hamster a little more often! LOL

I know you have all these beautiful spacious shots of the American west, and your usual masterful poser pieces, but I gotta acknowledge your decayed vehicle shots once in awhile, since you do them better than most. Love this old rusted decayed noble beast. And it's sitting in a little patch of stones that'd normally be used for a garden! Love the whole thing, And your composition. It's an ugly old van; but, like old barns, it has a dignity no one can mess with. The verticals of the lamp posts are fine contrasts too. Love this pic.
