Description

Many thanks for stopping by for a look, much appreciated my friends. A tribute to a friend and wonderful artist here, I've been trying to contact her for awhile, her roomate finally wrote me back and said she had passed away in early June. She had been battling that C word and was it's third time. Very sad to loose anybody, but she is no longer suffering from that dreaded disease cause she is in heaven with God. A beautiful tribute to Wanda, and it's wonderful that you included one of her pieces of art in it. It matches what you've created around it. I'm very sorry for her loss; I didn't know her, but from the tribute she's gotten both in dedis and in comments, I can see that she was a very special lady. Your piece shows your model in deep contemplation and communion; and her wings---angel wings---splash the image like the burst of a galaxy. You have curtains of light falling into your image, like light from above; and it's washed in an aura of heavenly light and beatitude. And I love the tattoos on the model---beautiful flower work---as well as the intense light on her face and chest and arms. A beautiful tribute; I'm very sorry for Wanda's passing...may she find deep light and eternity and grace...
