I'm only back for a few in each gallery, this time around, so I can't do my usual 'catch-up' this time. I'll try to make that up to you next time. But boy you've shown some real variations in your posts since I stepped away last; some real departures---at least from what you've posted here for awhile. I love this one---It's your abstraction all the way, but it's on a background 'field' which makes the shapes and protrusions look like jewels on a vast open field. The field is made of mirror-like planes. You have downright fractal-ish shapes here---very unusual in your work---and they give a "crown jewel" feeling to your shapes. And a number of half circles/ovals, which have beautiful 'steve' confluence of shapes and hues inside them. It's like they're separate universes that we are only glimpsing into. You have wonderful long tube-like lines breaking up the surfaces, and those light and pale greens in the background, which almost have a nature tint, making this seem like it's an aereal view of a vast farmland. Beautiful, and a real departure from your other (beautiful) work.
