Description

This is a 'Pierced Crescent Form' by Alan Wallwork, with whom i had the privilege of doing a workshop practice in the 1960's. I bought this piece from him and have treasured it ever since. Sadly someone managed to knock off one of the tips. You can read about this very talented potter Here

This is very nice. At first I thought it might be a petrified piece of honeydew melon. And thanks for the link. I like his stuff. Some of it reminded me of seed pods, others like totems.
