Description
Makani was the leader of a small band of Survivors. After the Fall, he had found them shelter, located food and supplies, organized protection and kept them alive. He kept himself apart to be a better Leader, he told himself, but it was also to protect him from ever being close enough to be hurt again. Sapphire understood this but that didn’t keep her from hoping and dreaming that one day he would notice her as a woman and not just another body to protect, train and provide for. He was so close and yet so far.
This was the first image I did using Makani. I thought he made a great Road Warrior sort of character. I figured he was hot enough to stand up to the August heat and be our Birthday dedication. Hope all the August born are able to stay cool and enjoy their day.

great job on both characters...Makani definitely looks like he's a leader, he's all purpose and determination. Sapphire seems like a young woman who could give a damned about determination. I love how you have her behind a door and even seen through that metal stairway. Hidden away. Fine story-telling with visuals. And those rounded doors are wild too. A fine gritty scene, with lots of story in it...
