Description

McDonnell Douglas AV8B Harrier II is the current USMC STOL ground attack fighter. Slated to be replaced by the F-35, it is projected to remain in service until 2030. I'll miss it. One helluva bird. AV8B Harrier II model from Digimation. Available here at Renderosity, modified and textures tweaked. USS Tarawa, Chafee, and Calaghan free from 3dwarehouse with some texture mods. Models mods in C4d, set up in PoserPro, texture mods in PS Cs3; composed, some mods, lighting, and rendered in Vue6Infinite; finished in PS Cs3.

Very nice scene. I would like to see them in Britain too but the Britons decided to get rid of them. Very sad.

Amazing image Bill. I think I once had this model on an old computer and made up some RAF textures for it. Although not technically the correct aircraft they still looked good.
