Description
A while back, my friend John Stroo (Grey_Cat) sent me some morphs to play with - here's one of those, with a little additional dial twiddling by me! This cutie is Monique, and she's ready for some action. T.N.A. is expanding....
I did a bit of playing with the blender brush in Photoshop, along with some messing with blend modes and layer masks for the background. The clouds are one of my photos blended in with the background. I'm pretty happy with the results.
And...... I'm Member Of The Month for August 2018! I'm very honored to be chosen for this - It pretty much blew me away when I got the email last week! I just wanted to Thank the Admins/Mods for this honor, and Ricky Grove (gToon) for the interview and Video.
Just a couple small corrections - I do use DAZ, but most of my work (especially the T.N.A. Series) is done with Poser Pro 2014. As I get more accustomed to DAZ (more later), you'll see some of it working its way into the story. Also the link for my personal homepage should show as rodslair.com. I'm not sure where alanslair.com came from, but the link goes to my website, so it's all good!

First off, a big congrats on the well-deserved MOM! And thanks too for your service and sacrifice serving our nation. Highly unlikely, but you didn't happen to run into Mark Rovere while in Nam...he was a jolly green chopper pilot and did 4/5 tours (so long ago I can't remember). Anyway, love your work and this little gal is just gorgeous...beautiful work, Rod.

Sterling rendering of the lovely orange toned Monique, contrasted against a somewhat ominous background. I sometimes used a photograph as a background during my Bryce/Poser days. And congratulations on your Member of the Month award. Those always help.

how could I forget to come here and add my congratulations? I already commented on the MOM post (and saw your response, lol, and no I didn't even think of LOTRings when I suggested that), but this is where you announced it, so...congratulations once more! You deserve it as much as anyone, for all the reasons I stated plus lots more. MOM always struck me as about the artist AND the person, and that fits you both ways. Ie, the people who make this place sing...I was very, very happy!
I haven't a much understanding of the technical matters you discuss in your posts, because I do so little 3D, so I just have to imagine. Whatever went into this image, the result is scintillating: the drape of the outfit is first rate, the light and shadow ditto, the light on her ditto, the contrast of that peach-gold hue with her darker stockings and the beautiful matching sandal-shoes, ditto; her vogue mag pose, and a gentle smile with a tad of mystery and invitation, ditto. And a deep cloud background as if she's coming to us out of the deep. Another highly fine-tuned pinup from you. And just right for your award. Thanks for your always wonderful comments, and for making me feel so welcome when I return...I greatly appreciate it, Rod.
