With the current heat, a walk in the forest is very pleasant. My dog "Clio" enjoys it also.

I've read about the intense heat you've had in Northern Europe, and it's amazing. Even Sweden has been baking, this summer. I hope it cools down soon. (And we have government officials in the U.S. who STILL say there is "no global warming". Our politicians are blind...) A beautiful, quiet, shaded scene; it reminds me of Beethoven's "Erwachen heiterer Empfindungen bei der Ankunft auf dem Lande" (from his Pastoral Symphony)...the music would fit this, as well. I realize the ground is probably more parched than usual, but you caught the deep 'interior' feeling of a beautiful forest; and the feeling of repose. It must smell beautiful in there too. And yes, I can imagine that Clio loves romping around in here. You live around gorgeous gentle nature, Christian, and you do it a great service with your eye and with your camera. Beautiful.
