Description

Several weeks of hard work have gone into the old Merc. Brent has gone over the body work with a fine tooth comb. His Dad gives it a final inspection and points out a few places that need to be improved, but for the most part, he is very pleased at the quality of Brent's work. Brent and his Dad make several more trips out to Mr. Olgilvies. Not just to search for and pick up items for the Merc, but also to have nice evening chats with him and show him pictures of the progress they are making. "Looks like you guys know what you are doing. I never could have imagined doing all that in my old shop. I suppose the boys would have come up with their own approaches, but you seem to know what you are doing. I feel the old Merc is really in good hands with you two." says Mr. Olgilvie. After the main body meets with his Dad's approval, they set it up on crates near the door to provide better ventilation. Then, on a very calm evening, Brent's Dad shows him how to run the paint gun. It takes awhile to mix up the paint and hook things up to the air compressor, but before long, Brent's Dad runs a few passes over the body, demonstrating to Brent his technique for painting. Brent picks up the action swiftly and before long, he feels ready to take over for his Dad. It takes awhile to cover the entire car body, but Brent does an excellent and thorough job of it. Before long, he looks to his Dad to see if he has missed any places. "No, son. It looks like you can clean up. I would have to say you did a first rate job!" It took Brent a long time to wipe the smile off his face. M4 characters. Rendered in Poser pro 11.1. Post work in Photoshop 7. Thank you for taking a peek! Your support is greatly appreciated!

Really great composition and attention to detail - I really like that you have them wearing the painting filters. Great job! That Merc will be better than new!
