Description
These are the consequences of the current heat wave. Fortunately there was a small change in the weather and it has cooled off a bit. There were a few short showers now, too.
Thank you very much for stopping by.
Happy weekend to all.

Oui, un petit rafraichissement, s'impose, de même qu'un peu de pluie, les plantes souffrent aussi avec la chaleur, jolie photo, reposante, merci merci d'avoir visité ma galerie

Our U.S. government has done pitifully little to address climate change. And, as if it were possible, our current president and his followers are doing even less. That heat wave that you and so much of Europe has experienced can be laid squarely at the U.S. government's feet. A lot of us here have worked hard to change this, but our representatives in Washington don't seem to care. You captured the feeling of heat here...the brown grass, the decay, the feeling that a fire has recently hit this area, and of course the remains of a pond, which I assume was beautiful when it was full. I hope your fall brings you relief and much more growth (before the snows come). A beautiful photograph, even though it depicts the loss of beauty...
