Description
Just fiddling with HDRI. Like so many things in DS 32-bit, accomplishing this was a real PITA. Had to cobble together lights and a skydome (for some reason my DS has no environment sphere). No ground plane, no hands and face cameras, have to go through a number of steps to make the ground plane (which one has to create) a shadow catcher, unable to see shadows in the viewport and the list goes on. Perhaps the 64-bit version doesn't have these shortcomings. Would appreciate if someone with a 64-bit version would let me know.
Thanks for the view and for your much appreciated comments.

Can't help with Daz Studio settings but there's most likely help to be found in the forums here. Still I'm glad you continue to work with the program you've done some nice images with it.

This looks really good despite all the hoops you had to jump through, my friend.
I have the 64 bit version, and it does have the dome and ground plane. I'm still pretty much a noob with DAZ, but I do have those features on mine.

she is a real peach. I know nothing of studio except I am too old to learn something new. after 17 years, I am still trying to learn Poser

Like some of the comments that I've had, the shadows set the scene. if you had some shadows, it would ground your figure to the scene
