Hello! My name is Teri and I've been around for over 69 years in various forms. I am happily married (51 years!), have two daughters and four grandchildren.
I discovered Poser 2 many years ago but didn't do much with it. In 2006 I found a copy of Poser 4 and got interested again. I was working in Poser 10 before I switched to Daz Studio in late 2017. I'm gradually getting the hang of most of it.
When not playing on the computer, I help my husband with his start-up Bio Tech business, refinish furniture, knit, crochet, and read. We grab our grandchildren every chance we get and delight in their antics.
Discovering this community has been a great source of fun and support in trying times.I am amazed at the level of talent I see in both the gallery and the products that are offered. It baffles me how little points on a screen can turn into people or trees and move. I'll always be blond I guess!
Thanks for looking.

Where's that Baggins guy when you need him??
Well, sounds like you've been busy indeed, Teri! Hope your arm heals up quickly - although I've found things take a little longer than they did 40 years ago... What's up with that?
Hey, doing all that stuff with your left hand is easy! I've been doing it for almost 70 years! 😁😆😅😄

Someone asked me if it was time to end all the horse meat jokes. I said neigh. Oh well... at least the horse gets to sleep somewhere warm tonight. =)
Beautiful artwork, my friend!

Oh that poor horse! I feel so sorry for it! I also feel sorry for your pain! I hope you get through it soon! We don't realize how all our body parts work with each other until something like this happens! Then it is all too obvious! Get well soon and get back to enjoying being creative! Best wishes!

I mowed my lawn last weekend and mowed again today. just enough rain to keep my 4Runner dirty and make the lawn grow like crazy. very cool pose and scene. I hope you can get some relief. have you ever tried "Blue Stuff?" it is good for localized pain relief.
available at Walmart and other stores. I have a jar of it that I use on occasion . goes by different names

Cool troll or beast, I love the decayed textures all over him, like decayed metal. And he's carrying a horse? I cant tell if he's killed it or he's just carrying it, but it's an impressive sight. And nice dark lighting too. (The horse is almost ghostly, in this light.) I always wondered if it's as hard to work with dark light in 3D as it is in photography (in photography, you get grain; I see none here). A cool, spooky, mysterious image. Nice work with the light and shadow.
I hope your injury heals quickly...I know it can take time, and no matter how you treat it, if it needs time, it will take it, no matter what we say. I hope it doesn't need time. Amazing how much we take a limb for granted, until it goes out on us. If I told you this, you can stop reading, but if not, I was photographing a few years back, and I jumped off a rock---maybe 3 feet. When I hit the ground, I collapsed like an accordion. I couldn't move. First time i was ever unable to get up. A bunch of teens ran over and shouted: "Are you ok, sir? Are you ok, sir?" (First, "sir" did NOT set well, as I hadn't accepted that I was in my 60s. I didn't say anything, but I thought 'at what point did I become a 'sir'???") Secondly, for all their true kindness, I wanted to crawl under a rock. I couldn't get up! I wanted to die. So I let them help me, I stood up, acted very cool (I wasn't cool), thanked them, and then went home and wanted to crawl under the bed. I mean, I exercise, walk, eat well, but age slows-up everything...I don't know if any of this applies to your situation, but I hope you heal quickly and you can use your arm and shoulder soon. People here will certainly understand! Take care and I hope you can rest in the meantime...
