Description
I love attempting to portray speed in my renders. Should I try and emulate photography or do I try to pursue a more psychological approach? Big decisions. I am always humbled by the artistry of commercial artists who painted cars in motion for a living in the mid-20th Century and hope that one day I could approach their type of mastery in making speed look both realistic and easy. They were giants, even if their names are unfamiliar to most people today.
The Speedster is Td3d's from Daz. I souped it up quite a bit using Denki Gaka's Patriotic Shaders. The driver is something I dialed up using RawArt's No Suit for G3M and then applying those Patriotic Shaders yet again. The helmet is from one of Ghastly's freebies.

Love the car sequences in John Wick but my plans to produce a render based on the scenes always run aground on radial blur. Excellent render.
