Description
“May I sit?” the stunning sapphire-haired moon elf stood before a table occupied by a ruggedly handsome fair haired man and a breathtakingly beautiful red-headed woman. She’d moved between several tables in the oddly named ‘Toss Your Tankard’ tavern, trying to engage able body warriors in her cause, but met with only disappointment, beginning to lose hope. Those she’d approached were merchants and traders, who were more interested in purchasing her tresssym familiar than listening to her request, or mercenaries working for them, but these two had a different look to them… and the woman wore the symbol of Sune, fire-haired goddess of love, a good-natured deity, about her neck.
“Of course,” Coran replied cordially, as his eyes roaming form the extremely rare, winged elven cat perched on her shoulder, a clear sign that she was of good heart, to her delightful features and wonderful, slender figure.
“I’m Zharilee Morningstar of Evermeet… and this is Nykodaemous,” she began introducing herself and her feline companion. “We seek your help with a daring task… we intend to venture to my ancestral home in Myth Drannor to retrieve an item of great value to my house… but we know we’ll need assistance in this effort.”
“You know that Myth Drannor is likely the most dangerous place on Faerun… don’t you?” Coran reacted, stunned by the casualness of her statement. “What could be so valuable to your house that you would try to retrieve it… alone?”
“Have you heard of a ‘sword of scion’… often called a ‘moonblade’,” she explained. “They are treasured artifacts intended to be pass from one generation to the next, but my house’s was left abandoned in Myth Drannor when the city fell. Only a worth heir of house Morningstar can claim the blade on pain of death, so if I can, it will be a great honor. My father called it a fool’s errant, forbidding me from leaving Evermeet to attempt it, but I discovered a fae crossroad that allowed me to travel here… although the guardian warned me that it was one way passage only… therefore, if I succeed, I will have to journey back to Evermeet by more conventional means.”
“And you thought you would find volunteers to join your ‘quest’ here?” Tessele taunted with a skeptical look.
“You’d have a better chance at the Fall of Stars,” Coran elaborated diplomatically. “Although even there most would agree with your father… Myth Drannor is no place to be traveled lightly. Many who dare to go there never come back, and the those that do consider themselves very lucky. Not only is it infested with all forms of dangerous creatures, but the failing mythal can be hazardous on its own, and its vast… without knowing exactly where this moonblade is you could be looking for years and not find it.”
“But I do know exactly where it is,” Zharilee countered confidently, “and how to awaken it. I didn’t come here on a whim. I’ve spent months researching my family’s archives… and I’m willing to go alone if I must.”
“That would be suicide… trust me!” Coran warned, the look in his eye telling them that his knowledge of the dangers of the ruined city were earned firsthand.
“You’ve been there?” Tessele exclaimed in surprise. She’d always dreamt seeing the remains of what was once the greatest and most beautiful city on Faerun, but never dared to go.
“A while ago,” he admitted with a heavy sigh, realizing that now he had two gorgeous women considering doing something insanely risky on his hands. “There’s a small group of priests and warriors dedicated to Shaundakul restoring a temple fortress there, I met some of them in Mistledale while they where trading for weapons and supplies and accompanied them back. They provide sanctuary to those of good heart who dare the ruins.”
“Then it seems I have found the right people to join me on my quest… if I can persuade you to do so,” Zharilee cooed with a coy smile and a wicked gleam in her eye.

This doesn't seem like the best idea, but should make for some interesting reading.

Thanks again for all your kind comments!
It was a bit of a nightmare for me too... it's actual two figures, the millennium cat and eagle 2 figures which I merged together and then "messed" with the textures to try and make them look like they belong together. Sine the two figures don't really fit together very well, it was a real pain to pose it!

Great picture .. I like the Tressym a native species of winged cats from the surrounding woodlands of the Village of Eveningstar. A small farming village on the northern border of the Kingdom of Cormyr.
Also like the story so far ..

This lady forms an interesting contrast to the wild bohemian redhead dancer. She has a more regal look, and also looks more... conservative (read: lawful ;) ). She's still pretty in her own right, though!
I'd reckon she's a dual-class fighter/magic-user character of lawful alignment. Lawful good, going by your story!

Your close on this one... she is a wizard/fighter but chaotic good... after all she did defy her father's wishes to seek out the moonblade.

Cool render. I like the winged cat. :)

Thank you for your kind comment!
He turned out nice, but boy was he a pain to do... He's two rather incompatible figures cobbled together, DAZ's Millennium Cat and Eagle.
