Description

This handsome fella was looking so good. There was nothing on the YW site so found this. Okapi is the only living relative of the giraffe. This beautiful animal lives in the northern, central and eastern parts of the Congo (Africa). Okapi prefers dense and damp vegetation, so it inhabits rainforests. Okapi was discovered in 1900, with 45 000 animals that lived in the wild at the time. thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. x

What a beautiful animal...looks like a Picasso designed their fur markings...doesn't look there's much in the way of dense, damp vegetation in this corral (?)
