I haven't commented on pure tree shots in a while, so I wanted to comment on these. Real contrast between the heavy dark trunks and those silhouetted branches---thick vs spindly. And those branches are all over the place. In the 1st shot, the flat field makes an almost desolate background...if it weren't for the buildings and athletic structures, this could be in a lonely midwestern landscape. And you have a very active sky, which makes a sweetly varied backdrop for the tree. In the bottom shot, we see the branches alone---this being late January, I can understand the lack of leaves. A fine study of a bare tree in winter, with fine light and a beautiful sky. That field is so empty...it makes a good backdrop for this lonely tree. Fine work on these, Harry.
Harry, I'm at almost an hour and a half, so I must stop. But I think I did about 18 or 19 images (I hope you're not loopy from reading all these comments in one sitting!) I'll try to come back here if I can, between major visits. But it's a pleasure whenever I can...At least I got a sampling of the many you've posted in my absences. Great being here, as always, and I hope you're doing well, over all; and I hope it starts to cool off too...at least as the fall moves forward...
