Description

I've been doing a bit of fiddling with some HUGE city scenes in preparation for some things to come in future T.N.A. pages. And of course I had to put a cutie in there! This little hottie is Tina - yep, another Tina... I should have her visit the Colorado Division just so we can have T&T&T.. LOL Anyway, I wanted to play with a large scene, and see how much I could get into the image without: 1. Blowing up my computer, or 2. Taking until September - of 2023 - to render. This scene at 3840 X 2160 (UHD) took only a few minutes to render, even with DOF ticked at an f-stop of 5.4 or so. I used 7 of DreamlandModel's low-poly city blocks, and a Dystopia city block for the distant background - plus a wee bit of forced perspective. And you can't have a city scene without plenty of traffic - it just doesn't look right... (probably needs more people, too). I've used a bunch of great low-poly vehicles from Fireangel's Future Traffic 1, 2 and 3. These are awesome for scenes like this - you can load up a ton of 'em, and with all the different mat poses have lots of variety. Future Traffic 1 & 2 and 3 are all in the MP. These are best used with a sky-dome to pick up the reflections in the glass and surfaces of the vehicles. This is pretty much how it came out of Poser's render oven. I just did a teeny bit of contrast adjustment in Photoshop, and added my sig. I want to once again thank Renderosity for choosing me as Member of the Month for August (not April.... LOL). It was truly an honor! Thanks for dropping by, and for all your comments, support, and your own inspirational art and photos. Rod's Lair Facebook Twitter Girls From T.N.A. Title reminds me of the Pat Benatar song, hot child in the city. Running wild looking pretty.

Kick A$$ scene development Rod.

My computer would go kaput trying this.

Strangely enough, the Benatar song was playing in my head the whole time I was putting this together..

I'll need to take your word on the scene scale - I tried looking down the street but my eyes just won't leave Tina 😄 Just kidding - very impressive scene!!!

Wow, lots of effort went into this! A stunning woman and did I read something about traffic and buildings? Oh, yeah, once you manage to take your eyes off her thighs there's a whole city around her...

She is seriously distracting me from looking at all the work you put into the rest.

Big street scenes are a real challenge in Poser - there's no 'more of the same at a distance' option - but I think you've done well here. There is a strong sense of distance and the idea that this is a place to be further explored. Nice reflection effects on the vehicles too.

Great composition utilizing the tools at your command. Tina, the autos, the sky, and the total depth are most impressive, notably the pristine sidewalk.

It looks like it turned out fantastic - and you did not blow up your computer. Better look next time. If you are like me, you will keep pushing the envelop until you inadvertently succeed. Hope it will not happen for a long long time though. :)

I like the precision and clarity of your graphics, perhaps owing to all the computer power you are throwing at it. A simplistic comprehension views more pixels as being a predominant influence of clarity, however my old Aiptek seems to produce "better" images under some conditions.

Terrific scene and wow you must have a powerful computer (even using Poser compared to DS, this would take my computer all night or longer lol). I love the clarity, color and detail you've been able to achieve here!
