"Where's all the work gone?" "With all the humans. There's not one out there since everything turned to desert; just sun and sand." "They could have taken us with them." "We're not needed any more. Ther are so many more humans now to do the work and earn a living that we are superfluous. So little food for them all now; so little water; so little green space left. Now there's no leisure for them; work or starve, it's that simple." "So we just sit here and rust, do we? I don't fancy that.
