when you do single roses, you always get a total personality, not just furls and petals, etc. This rose opens up to us beautifully, with pink to white on almost every petal, and beautiful deep furls. In full view, there's really depth to this rose; and you captured a dusty pink, a kind of desert pink, that is so unusual. Again, as in many of your solo flower shots, you've cropped for closeness---though this has more space around the rose than some of your tight crops. And that allows the rose to dominate and come to us as much as we come to it. The browner forms in the bottom (background) are nice contrast to the greens on top. A beautiful rose shot...
