Description
An old scene I made last year. HMS Ocean and the Sea Venom. The Venoms wear the stripes of the Suez Crisis. Venom was the successor of the second British jet fighter, the Vampire. It went into the RAF in 1952. The two seater was the night fighter version from that the Sea Venom derived. It was in use in the Suez Crisis in 1956. HMS Ocean was one of five British aircraft carriers in the operation Musketeer in the Suez Crisis.

I often look at the first couple generations of jet aircraft and think about what the heck were the designers thinking!!! But as I get older I find these early aircraft are really kind of cool looking. . . things change over time, I guess? Great job!!!

Yeah. I like these old jets because they are so individual and do not follow the usual line like modern cars. And even the actual and coming generation of jets seems to be all from the same designer.

Excellent job of texturing the Sea Venom. You obviously do quite a bit of research. I also assume that all your ships are the appropriate ones for the time period. (Where do you find them?)
