Description
the roof would fold back under the cover. I have known a few people with them and each complained about leaks that would cause the floor to rust

That Skyliner is still in beautiful shape! I have always loved that color combination! A most excellent capture, Richard! Bravo!

Great capture - My neighbor had a 1956, the model that year seems more of a classic to me.

Move to a dry state and don't take it out in the rain Seriously, that's why I've never desired convertibles, even hardtop ones like this.

This reminds me of the 1957 Skyliner a friend drove back in the day. Awesome photo!

I've always liked the baby blue on the these cars. wouldn't want it on the modern cars but it works on these!

Sleek looking Ford with a great paint job. Cool shot, Richard.

My Mother (God Bless Her) admired the Ford Fairlane very much whilst we were over there with my Father (One of the youngest commisioned Officers in Her Majesty's Military) Commanding Officer of Singapore Base District from 57 to 59.

sweet angle on this, Richard, and lots of light. More cream color, with that characteristic light blue.A very sweet shot. We knew people (when I was a child) who had these cars; and the roof would get stuck mid-air, as it was folding up. Looked like some wind came along and blew off its hairpiece!
