Description

Abbaye Saint-Martin du Canigou The abbey of Saint-Martin-du-Canigou is a monastery built in 1009 in the Pyrenees on Canigou mountain. The original Romanesque style monastery was built from 1005 to 1009 by Guifred, Count of Cerdanya , possibly for forgiveness of his sins for the murder of his nephew. This abbey was populated by Benedictine monks. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200
