Well, you said it yourself: needs work! But it's a good start! I'd add another distant population of trees that's partially buried with the trunks underground.

Gentle undulation of foreground terrain, the trees would not leap out as much, still love this viewpoint, looking forward to seeing where you go next, great to see ya Rich!
